Guesthouses are often big contributors to plastic pollution on the islands. This is not only due to higher usage of their services but also because of the consumption of single-use plastics on a day-to-day basis by the guests on day trips or other excursions. 

 
 

HOW

  • Keep a log of all guesthouses on the island

  • Reach out to them to set up a plastic collection point to bring back to the school’s interception

  • Percentage of guesthouses engaged for interception regularly by the end of year
