Out of the millions of tons of plastic that enter the ocean every year, a large amount of marine waste does not float on the surface, but rather becomes waterlogged and sinks to the depths of the ocean. The sunken wast harmfully affects marine life as it can be mistaken for food, or sometimes suffocate life on the ocean floor.Underwater cleanups are just as important as on land, beach cleanups!
